Chev. DEon - Durand - COSPLAY

Didn't really put much effort into the collage.

Funny thing about this cosplay... I suck at sewing, so I was at least somewhat helping my grandmother make this. A week before MTAC (which is tomorrow) we find out that we cut it completely wrong. Sooo... just to save time, she's doing the whole thing herself now. And I feel like a douche. Um. The fabric looks wrinkled but that's the nature of this silky texture. Looking wrinkled, not being wrinkled. So... yes.

Also, it's my fault, but the buttons on the vest are wrong. But who cares, I love this thing and my grandmother is one good seamstress~

This is Durand's outfit from Le Chevalier d'Eon. It's a good anime, go watch it.

*EDIT: I know it's not finished. The border needs to be put on and so do the rest of the buttons as well as the lining on the upper inside of the coat. And erm. The sleeves need to be sewn on completely. They're just basted right now... >_>

I will post pictures of the complete thing later. I'm not exactly skinny, but I enjoy cosplaying, and this is what matters.

Plus, Durand is just a badass. XD;;

**EDIT: Styling that wig was a pain in the ass and I hope to never ever have to do that on my own again. I'll just preorder a wig style if I need the damn thing.
