Falling RainAs if battles fought
long ago began
to play themselves out again
on the empty fields where they took place,
the sounds could be heard
though from a distance
for time had made those battles
distant on those peaceful fields.

The falling rain poured
as it had that night
scouring the earth and quenching
the stark rocks and botany of
the green and earthy lands.
Long ago the rain did wash away
the blood and tears, the sweat
that all had leaked from the human
bodies either dead or alive, or dying.

The falling rain soothing
battle fever as it washed clean the
deep angers and left a hollow feeling
within the hearts of the living so
Out the WindowThat which makes
life worth living for
him
can be seen
through the window
at a glance;
his wife
standing in the
flourishing garden,
admiring her work,
smiling and
lighting
his entire day.
That Night On the FieldThere we stood in the middle of the field.

The event, the Williamson County Band Exhibition, the location at Centennial High School
in Cool Springs in Middle Tennessee. It was a free event, so several schools did not participate, much to the dismay and irritation
of other band directors. The event was free because they were going to accept donations to the funds for the hurricane victims
down in New Orleans. The people attending donated around nine thousand dollars, and the company of Lowes matched it totaling at
over eighteen thousand dollars.

There we stood in the middle of the field.

I remember, distinctly, the chilling echos of T
Of Hate and GraceHate hurts the hater
more than the hated.
If that is so,
then I'm broken and

boiling hot as the sun.

then I'm fried to the

I cannot afford.

more than the hated.
But hated not
the Son as He lay on the
cross.

Hate keeps the blood

but Christ's love
burns away all the pain and the
dross.

Heck I love this~

This is my clarinet, and actually a tuba part underneath it of an original copy of some music we're working on in the Wind Ensemble (I was too lazy to get my own music out at the time).

I play clarinet too~ B flat :love:
Er- I did play clarinet I should say..
It was through school, and I'm no longer in school.
